CONTENT OF THE COURSE
On board a ship of the Italian Navy the knot expert sailors are the "helmsmen" they are the lords of knots, those who know the techniques of realization
most widespread and used in the various maneuvers of the sailor.

COURSE A
Review of the nodes that are most frequently used to moor on the quay,

Meteorology
CONTENT OF THE COURSE

Launching and hauling
CONTENT OF THE COURSE

CONTENT OF THE COURSE

Method of calculation and correspondence
CONTENT OF THE COURSE
The course provides notions of how to read nautical charts, the main topics that are dealt with are the following: Latitude and Longitude, Nave Point, Geographic North and Magnetic North, Declination and Deviation, True Head and Compass Head. Effects of current and wind on the route. Lossodromic route and Orthodromic route. draw and calculate routes, use of the compass, declination, deviation.
How to calculate the amount of fuel needed for a given route,
calculation method to manage, space, speed and time.
